Prof Muhammad Shahid graduated from Dow medical college and started his residency from civil hospital karachi. He joined Agha Khan University and completed his internal medicine residency and later promoted to instructor, senior instructor and Assistant professor. He has done MCPS AND FCPS and completed his MPH from John Hopkins Bloomberf school of Public health USA. Later he joined Indus hospital: completed his fellowship in diabetes and Endocrinology from Liaquat National Hospital. He joined national institute of diabetes and endocrinology. DUHS Karachi as Associate Professor and later moved to SMBBMCL & LGH. He is examiner and supervisor of CPSP and work ed with Government of sindh as focal person of Covid 19. Dr Shahid is known nationally and internationally for his research. He was Co-investigator of "Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiological Study-Pure" from Pakistan. He is invited as an international speakerin many conferences. He has trained many post graduate residents in the field of medicine and is reviewer of multiple Medical Journals including JCPSP. He has published extensively on different topics including deliberate self-harm, diabetes mellitus chest pain, thyroid disorders, and other medical emergencies. Dr Shahid has recently has recently been promoted as Professor of medicine. He is trained in Men's health problem from concept fertility Centre Perth Australia.
